Tuesday

************

It's Green Waste Day!

53 degrees; sunny for the time being.
  • Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds, with the most cloud cover south of Route 20, and perhaps a very large amount of sunshine north of the Thruway. A fine line between gorgeous and gloomy. High around 70.
  • Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers south. Low in the low 50s
  • Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds with showers and thunderstorms possible late and at night. High: 75, Low: 60

Hank Gardner sent me this link, yesterday, to an article in the Washington Post about Boxing Coach Hal Chernoff and Fernando Guerrero, Olympic hopeful.

And now it's totally topless - at least that one bay of the Car Wash - but that's only temporary, according to Tom. Improvements are on the way, starting with a "Touchless" Wash, at that end of the building and, in every bay - "Spotless" drying!! (That's great!)

In Monument Park, all the old slates have been taken up and a new sidewalk, between Madison and Tower Streets, will be poured.

As of about 4:00 P.M. yesterday, this was the status of the old mill.

(I knew that I had gotten covered with dust and grit, yesterday morning but forgot that my camera would have the same. Pictures that I took later in the day are really smudgy, but I'll attend to that situation - very carefully - before I go out this morning.)
