It began around 7:30 this morning.

Quite a few "sidewalk superintendents" watched ...........

while a giant "claw" shoved whole sections of wall ........

which fell crashing to the ground in a blinding cloud of smoke and dust.

There were a few pigeons left, pacing along the edge of the roof.

Hundreds of others have probably already found new lodgings
