Saturday - 8:15 a.m.

5:45 p.m.

Main Street was mobbed!

6:05. Jack Gorton's here. We can start now!

Everyone's waiting!

Here they are!

That's the band director, Mr. Pat Moshetti, in the yellow and white shirt.

The crowd cheered ........

..... and Chef Yves Zenon popped out the front door of "La Petite Maison" to take a look.

Scott McNamara's team handed out flags ......

......... a Bassett showed off ........

....... while other dogs feigned disinterest.

The Parade was GRAND!

It had started a little bit late, and at around 7:00 I decided to try to get to the other end of town - somehow.

However ---- still waiting, having seen none of the crowd or excitement, more and more units were still in line all the way back on West Bacon Street as far as Berrill Avenue and solidly down Babbott!

There was simply NO way to get through, so I waited, too, noticing that the very last unit had been parked on a huge number "48." That's a parade!
