It's Garbage Day!

It's 64.8 degrees and overcast.

This is the third morning in a row that I've gotten up especially early just so that I could see the Persieds - no such luck!

I took a ride through Bouckville, yesterday. The big tents are up and smaller shops, packed with "treasures," are already open.


I don't know always what it is, but I'm sure I must want it!

Experienced shoppers on a mission!


The roadside is getting pretty-well jammed ........

... but there's lots more room in the big field!

Township highway departments are almost too conscientious when it comes to keeping roadsides mown. Somehow this stretch in Brookfield escaped that fate and has been left for Mother Nature to weave her borders and banks of Queen Anne's Lace.
